This is another interesting story which I heard from a friend of mine. I don"t know if it is really true but it sounds credible to me. Well, it goes like this. A friend of my friend knows a woman whose neighbour lost everything she had one night. The woman"s name is Tanya. Her brand new house was set on fire and she hadn"t had time to buy an assurance policy. The only thing that was left was a couple of gold jewellery items. She decided to sell gold although she knew she wouldn"t get much money for a couple of rings. Well, she was wrong! When she showed the jewellery items to an expert she was informed that one of the rings was actually very valuable! It came from India and was at least three hundred years old. Tanya had no idea where she got that ring from, but she knew her ancestors travelled to India several times, so they might have brought something with them! Tanya managed to sell gold ring on an auction within two weeks. The money she got was enough to buy a small flat. She regretted not having found out about the ring earlier! Perhaps her whole life would have been different. Maybe she wouldn"t have bought the house which was later set on fire. Perhaps she would have built a nice huge villa in the mountains. Well, now she"s happy anyway because the money she got for the ring was enough to save her from trouble.
