How much is a gold bullion worth

I am a doctor by profession and a traveller by avocation. Last spring I visited Morocco to get to know local people and traditions. Something unexpected happened as I was walking along a street in a small town. A young man was hit by a truck in a car accident in front of my eyes. The crowd gathered around the man and somebody called the ambulance, but my reaction was quick and I managed to stem the haemorrhage he had sustained. The man turned out to be a wealthy local investor and insisted that I take a gold bullion as a an expression of his gratitude. I felt embarrassed and didnt know what to do, but finally accepted the bullion. Why refuse such a gift? A few days later I decided to rent a jeep and go on a long trip to the desert. I enjoy visiting places generally considered inhospitable for human beings, but I sometimes tend to overestimate my survival skills. The trip was exhausting and soon I used up almost all my food and water. But worst of all, the car engine broke down. That night a group of robbers attacked me. They surrounded me in their cars and demanded all my possessions. Of course, they couldnt take the car, so I gave them all my equipment and the gold bullion I had taken with me. They didnt hurt me but left very quickly, leaving me alone and helpless. On the next morning I found a research station inhabited by some university scientists, and they helped me get back to my hotel. I lost all my possessions, and the gold bullion too, but I was really relieved to be alive.
